National Night Out Block Party

Our National Night Out Block Party was tonight. Despite the scare of thunderstorms, we still had 43 people in attendance! Kendall and I hosted again, so thankfully our family was well for the event! I would have hated to leave my neighborhood stranded with no host! We had to cancel the bounce house, but I think the kids still had fun with the pinata, pumpkins, playing corn hole and riding their bikes! Thanks to the Coppell Police and Fire Departments for coming out and supporting our neighborhood!

McGruff the Crime Dog!

We had our annual pumpkin carving contest. Jessie actually wanted to dig out the insides!
We dared a couple of the kids to eat the raw pumpkin insides! Amazing what they will do for a buck!
Our pumpkin...
I didn't think they would ever burst this thing open!

When the firetruck showed up, there were only a few families left...
Ian, Jessie and Grayson on the truck...

Angie Huff. Glad Grayson is over the flu and hoping you can go on vacation, especially since your birthday is VERY soon!! Also, I don't know what playing "corn hole" is, but it doesn't sound like a game I'd play! ;o) haaa haaa haaa!
