PEACE BEGINS WITH A SMILE...

"Do all the good you can, By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can, In all the places you can,
At all the times you can, To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can." -John Wesley

I have always wanted to paint my car windows but have never had a reason to! The kids have seen all the cars in town painted up and ready for kids to go off to camp this summer. When I told them we were doing this, you would have thought we won the lottery! They were so excited! SOTO family camp...here we come!

Jessie Loses a Tooth!

At 7:45 this morning, Jessie ran downstairs claiming her tooth had fallen out!!! She was very excited. Kendall and me, not so much! One more sign we are losing our baby girl! She still has a great smile though!

VBS AND BYBC

Another successful VBS week! This year our theme was Route 254, reflecting on Psalm 25:4. I was an elementary school director along side the amazing Cindi Coss! I think she directed me more than I directed anything else! But what a learning experience for me! I have never been fully plugged in to VBS like I was this year and I can't wait for next year! Also this year, FBC held Back Yard Bible Clubs at several different homes. We were fortunate enough to host for our neighborhood and surrounding area. We averaged 19 kids each night!! It made for a long week, but it was so worth it.We celebrated with family night events in the church parking lot on Friday night and Grayson dunked Pastor Clayton in the dunk tank...all for God!!!!

Below are pics of Grayson with Pastor Clayton, me with Katie (children's director), Grayson with Elizabeth (one of his VBS guides), Grayson and Jess with Mallory (teen helper), a group pic from our BYBC group, and Clayton in the dunk tank!

Aunt Amy Comes to Dallas

Meet Miss Molly!

We finally found the dog for us! Meet Miss Molly. She is a 1 yr. old miniature Schnauzer. She is so sweet and a great dog! We just love her!

Sushi...MMMM???

Grayson tried it, but didn't love it as you can see on his face!

4th of July Parade Float

Jessie joined in on the fun of painting banners for the July 4th parade! She loved hanging out with the teenage girls. Our float was about FBC VBS going on this month!
