Principal for a Day!

Grayson was Principal on May 10. Needless to say he loved it! As soon as he arrived at school he was shown his own desk and laptop in the office. Below is a copy of the email I received from his principal later that day...

Hi Angie,

Grayson had a great day!  He was so much help in the office and I think he really enjoyed himself. Early this morning, he helped supervise announcements and then went with me to make sure 5th grade got off to Pine Cove okay. Then he went to specials.  He spent the first part of the morning "in charge" of the "books."  He worked with information from the bank on our various accounts.  He did some research on his laptop and then he went to lunch with his friends.  (I believe he arranged with Mrs. Sanbria to eat outside.)  When he got back from recess, he helped in the front office while I attended a meeting.  Then he told me, "he was going to be back upstairs for the rest of the day" because the crayfish have come in.  He added that they are aggressive.  I hope he enjoyed his time as principal.  The teachers popped their heads in all morning and said hello to him and called him Mr. Principal! I loved having him.  He is a great young man!   Deana
