The Friends and Family Pic Nic was a blast this year! The Drug Enforcement Agency brought a helicopter for the kids to tour and they gave a great talk about being drug free!

Green Meadows Farm
Today, I accompanied Jessie and her Kindergarten friends to Green Meadows Farm in Grand Prairie. Not much has changed since I went with Grayson 4 YEARS AGO! The group had a great time milking cows, going on a hayride, petting goats, zebras, turkeys, chickens and much more. We ended the day with a picnic and and picking our pumpkin in the pumpkin patch!
Ranger Chorale Spaghetti Dinner
I've said it over and over, we have the BEST choir teacher! Mr. Hanson really knows how to get these kids interested in music! On October 12, 2010 was our annual fundraiser/spaghetti dinner. We sold out and the kids put on an awesome performance! Way to go Ranger Chorale! The theme of the evening was "New York City". We decorated the cafeteria like a Broadway stage! Jessie was in on the fun too with her friend, Natalie!

Nanny's Quilt
On October 10, 1910 my nanny (my dad's mom), Jessie Pauline was born! As God would have it, I was born 63 years later on October 10, 1973. My sweet girl, Jessie, was named after her. For years I've had a quilt top that she started. My sweet friend, Kari Smith, completed her work by adding backing and a beautiful purple and brown border to it! I am so excited to have something in our family that we can pass down for years to come!

What a blessing to live in a place you LOVE! We celebrated National Night Out with our neighbors on October 5. Friends, chili cook-off, police and fire departments and lots of games made for a wonderful evening!

I'm 6!!!
Yep, she turned 6 this weekend! I can't believe it! We celebrated at Art From the Heart in Coppell. Friends painted, enjoyed cupcakes and showered Jessie with awesome gifts! What a spoiled little girl we have! Before bed she said, "I'm 6 and you can't pull me down!". I have no idea what she was talking about, but she totally meant it!

Birthday Cupcakes at School
Happy birthday to my baby! Her kindergarten class celebrated with cupcakes and singing this afternoon! What a fun start to her birthday "weekend"!!
MUSIC THROUGH THE DECADES
Today, Wilson Elementary celebrated "Music Through the Decades". Grayson was ZZ Top, along with many other kids in his class (and 4 teachers)! So much for us being creative! Jessie was Hannah Montana, of course! It is so awesome to see how the whole school participates in so much fun! The fourth grade teachers all dressed as The Village People and performed "YMCA" during the morning spirit rally!

We love playing BINGO for the Coppell High School Cheerleaders fund raising event! Too bad we never win!
CHS Homecoming 2010
Grayson gave Jessie her FIRST Homecoming Mum for the CHS Homecoming game this year! It was sooooo sweet! She was so excited to see her name on the ribbons! She wore it proudly at the game and really felt like one of the "big girls"! Oh they are growing up!
Cheering at COWBOYS STADIUM!
Jessie's first cheer experience was at our scrimmage games at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium! I loved watching her cheer on the big field! I really don't think she stopped smiling the entire time! We toured the massive stadium including the Cowboys players locker room and cheerleaders locker room. I must say she felt right at home in the cheerleaders dressing area! Maybe she sees her future!
