Last Day of School!!!

June 4 was the last day of second grade. This year went by so fast. I guess that is what happens you have an awesome teacher like Miss Kautz! Since Grayson's birthday was coming up, I took mini cupcakes for the kids to have at lunch time. It was a wonderful year end treat for them. Miss Kautz let us all eat lunch in the classroom and celebrate!

Living Inside Out in an Upside Down World

Last Sunday Grayson was in a play/musical at church. Elisa West does a phenominal job with these kids! I have no idea how she teaches so many to do so well! They put in lots of time and energy and the effort paid off! The musical was a hit. Grayson played the part of a guy who was blind to God and only wanted the things of the world. Specifically, video games. Before the show, the preschool choir performed two songs. And of course, they were adorable!!

Play Date

Maryn came over for a play date this morning. The girls had a great time riding bikes, eating popsicles and spaghetti, kicking the soccer ball and modeling for a few pictures!

Oh my goodness. My baby graduated preschool on Wednesday. How can that be possible already?? It seems like yesterday that I was leaving her for the first time with Miss Lanette. Now she reads books, knows her address and phone number, has great hand writing and is off the charts academically. I'm proud, but I have to be honest, I wish it would slow down. It's very cliche to say, but she is growing up too fast! Speaking of growing up, she answered the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" with "either a cat or a model". Haha!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a blast at the Rivera's house last Sunday! The kids were in the pool for 10 HOURS! I had to peel Jessie out before she became water logged! There were a ton of friends there - the Higgs', the Benge's, the Jackson's, the Campbells and many more. I think I gained 5 pounds from all the food we ate. Nothing like a little sunburn, scratches from the pool, and weight gain to say you had a good time!

Cub Scout Year End Party

David and Sandy Flesher were nice enough to host our year end cub scout party in their beautiful pool on Saturday afternoon. Let me tell ya, those boys had a blast! I think they all had wrinkled fingers and toes when it was all over!!

Today was Field Day at Grayson's school. They played games, had water gun fights and lots of fun all day! I got to go to the family picnic this afternoon - fun times!
