Wilson Ranger Field Day 2009

Today was Field Day at Grayson's school. They played games, had water gun fights and lots of fun all day! I got to go to the family picnic this afternoon - fun times!

I took the kids to see "Annie" last night at Coppell Middle School West! Ashley Barnes had the lead role, and Natalie and Jacob Barnes were extras. All three of them did a great job! We were so proud of them! Here is a sweet picture of Grayson, Jessie and Jett with the star of the show...

Kenny Chesney 2009

The Kenny Chesney concert was a blast! He played for 3 hours and we had great tickets right by the stage in the sandbar! My camera isn't that great, but you can see how close we were! Can't wait to see him again next year!

Cub Scout Cross Over Ceremony

Grayson and the other Wolf Cubs officially became Bear Cubs yesterday at the cross over ceremony! Another year of scouts, here we come!!

Silver Dollar Ball

On May 2 we attended the Silver Dollar Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. Marco was the honorary chairman and he invited several friends to sit at his tables. It was a crazy night. It literally poured down rain all night. Our boots were soaked and Tracy Byrd had to stop singing early due to all the water! If nothing else, the rain made for a more memorable evening. We got to meet Tracy Byrd which was pretty exciting too! Courtney Christianson photographed the event again this year and shared some of her wonderful pictures with me! Black Belt Testing - May 1, 2009

Grayson completed his journey to earning his 1st Degree Black Belt on May 1. I cannot express the pride I felt when I saw him receive that belt! He has worked hard for 3 years and although sometimes he didn't want to go to class or thought he would just give up, he didn't. He perservered and is the second one in our house to earn his black belt!

Bowling for Books

April 23-26. Vegas was a blast. How could it not be? It's Vegas! We went for the Ruegy's Readers Bowling Tournament/Fundraiser again. Good times with friends!
