The Big Party!

Celebrating Kendall's mid life crisis with some of our closest friends last weekend was awesome! It was so good to see everyone and I really think everyone had a great time! We had dinner in the the private dining room at Daddy Jack's. Cupcakes were made by the wonderful Cindi Coss. I had buttons made for us all to wear that had picutres of Kendall from childhood up to now. Kendall said his favorite part of the party was the DVD of pictures I had made and played for everyone. I was really suprised since he usually doesn't go for my "cheesiness"! Our friends were so good to him. He got Mavs tickets, gift cards and funny cards! Not to mention the underwear that Earl and Cara gave him! A few of them also roasted him telling funny stories! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate!

Kendall's Birthday Pics

Like Father, Like Son

As most of you know, Kendall is really good at basketball. Grayson has recently taken interest in playing too and will play in a summer league at the YMCA. Kendall has been teaching him how to dribble and shoot - or as Grayson says "dribble 3 times, concentrate and shoot!". He's going to be a great player, just like his daddy!

Who is your favorite?...

Pappaw! That's the answer you get when you ask Jessie who her favorite person is! She was so excited to see him on Monday when he came to visit for a couple of days. Grayson and Jessie were so excited to show Pappaw their new bikes! We went to dinner and Pappaw went to the boy scout meeting with us!

Eating with friends

Last Sunday evening was spent with the Cates family. We enjoyed a yummy steak that Eric cooked on the grill and the kids played outside in the beautiful, spring, evening weather. They ate hot dogs on the slide. Fun times!

HAPPY 35TH KENDALL!

Today is Kendall's 35th Birthday. We had a mini celebration complete with balloons, presents and cake our local hamburger joint - Fat Daddy's. The real party will be this Saturday, but it was fun to start the "mid life crisis" acknowledgement today! We love you honey!

Wanna Dance??

Jessie's dance class had their costume fitting and first dress rehearsal tonight for the upcoming recital in June! They will be perfoming to "The Good Ship Lollipop". It was so cute! I love the salute she gives! And since today is Kendall's birthday, her fellow dancers gathered around Kendall and sang Happy Birthday to him.
